Hi, everybody. Today’s business expression is
“Cash Cow”.
A cash cow is a part of a business or business that make a lots of money steady.
Now could be for example, if I have a business, let say just I have a takoyaki stand,
for some reasons my takoyaki stand is very very popular
and I’m always making money and I’m very happy making money.
Well, I would say
my takoyaki stand is my Cash Cow. It’s a cash cow.
Cow, of course, has teats. Teats are breast for cow.
And if you pull on the teats, milk comes out.
But in this case I don’t get milk,

Another way to use “Cash Cow” is, for example,
if company, I don’t know Sony, has one product that makes a lot of money,
we say that product is Cash Cow.
For example the iPod.
Now mackintosh makes many things, for example, computer you’re using now,
this computer here is iMac. I’m very happy with it.
But I think mackintosh is making all rich, real good money from the iPod.
So we can say iPod is their cash cow.
